导演简介

《入戏》的整个过程对她来言，是一个痛苦的过程，也是一个学习的过程。从拍摄到剪辑，甚至打字幕，报影展，设计海报几乎是她独立完成。当然幸运的是她期间入选了Sundance-CNEX的工作坊，让她真正的进入了独立纪录片的生态。在多位朋友的协助下，影片最终入围了北欧最大的电影节，哥德堡电影节，2018年1月30号将在瑞典全球首映。

Director's Biography

Tracy Dong graduated from Beijing Film Academy. In 2008, she opened the 8090 studio. She started to make documentaries in 2010 with a DV. Her workIn Character had been designed to reflect the living conditions of students of Beijing Film Academy with the nameSmile, then led to the present edition ofIn CharacterThe production ofIn Character is painful for her, and she handled the shooting, editing, adding screenplay, applying for international festivals, designing posters all by herself. It is the learning process for her as well. Fortunately, the film has been admitted to Sundance-CNEX and that enables her to join the real independent documentary industry. With the help of friends in the film business, the film has been successfully selected by Goteberg Festival, the most prestigious film festival in Northern Europe, and is expected to premiere on Jan. 30, 2018.    

导演阐述

那么关于《入戏》我最早是要讲一个关于演员生存状态的纪录片，没想到最后呈现了一出当代中国语境下的文革实验，是完全是我意料之外的，剧中的高潮部分也完全是一个突发事件，也许这正是纪录片它的独特魅力。但事实上《入戏》并没有讲文革，这部电影更多的是在讲人们对集体主义的反思，当然也包含了演员生存状态的这个层面。

Director’s Statement

AsIn Character, originally I would like to reflect the living conditions of Chinese actors and I found it would be more meaningful to present as the experience of the life during the period of Cultural Revolution under Modern Chinese context. For me, it is a surprising founding and the climax of the movie is based on an incident. I do believe this is indeed the charm of making documentary. In fact,In Character is not to discuss Cultural Revolution directly but to draw the rethinking of collectivism and reflect the living conditions of Chinese actors.

剧情简介

有着文革情节的导演叶京为了让13名年轻演员回到文革，他把演员们封闭在四川小镇的一个兵工厂，隔绝了于外界的任何联系——这无异于一场人类学实验。这13名演员每天穿着文革时期的服装，听着文革时期的歌曲……一个演员请假事件掀起了一场残酷的批斗会，批斗会上演员们发生了令人惊愕的变化……

Synopsis

Ye Jing, a director, is fascinated with the topic of Cultural Revolution. Attempts to bring 13 young actors back to the Cultural Revolution by taking them to a firearms factory in a village in Sichuan without the possibility of having any contact from the outside world-just like an anthropological experiment. These 13 young actors must wear clothes and listen to music from the period every day. When one of the actors asks for leave, a big conflict ensues. It would appear that these actors have gone through some quite astonishing changes during their time together.
