导演简介

费聿竹，导演，编剧。05年吉林大学艺术学院毕业后便开始了北漂生涯，在一所大学教油画，09年辞去北京工作前往英国追寻自己的电影梦。12年伦敦电影学院毕业后在英国从事电影相关工作，在摄影师、执行导演、执行制片等角色中沉淀自己。16年回国着手准备长片处女作。

Director's Biography

Fei Yuzhu is a director and screenwriter. He taught painting in Beijing after his graduation from the College of Arts of Jilin University. In 2009, he resigned and moved to the United Kingdom for pursuing his dream of being a filmmaker. After graduating from the London Film School in 2012, Fei was engaged in film-related works in the UK and precipitated himself in the roles of cameraman, executive director, and executive producer. In 2016, he backed to China and started to prepare his debut of a feature film.

导演阐述

我在海外学习生活了七年，见惯了身边华人对“根”的渴望和朋友的聚散离别。回国以后，我看到、听到了更多的年轻人对归属感的迷失，时下流行一句话：“北上广容不下肉身，故乡放不下灵魂”。我想，这大概是我们这一代年轻人的共性吧，我希望把它记录下来，通过拍摄《冬去春又来》这个故事去搞清楚，我们这一代人在这个急速前进的世界中，个体平凡而又复杂的内心世界。

当代的都市青年是复杂的一代，却又是稳定的时代中平凡普通的一代。漂泊与生存是这个时代下青年的共性，他们在繁华的幻影和现实的生活夹缝中顽强生存，都曾被父母家人寄予厚望，也都曾为了理想或人生价值背井离乡。面对突然敞开的世界大门和讯息爆炸的社会进程，有的人坚持了理想、有的人选择了妥协、也有人被迫离开。这种对生活的不确定、归属感的找寻、内心的孤独和对生活的抉择是本片的意义所在和我想要表达的影片实质。生活无所谓对错，这便是冬去春又来的立足点。

Director’s Statement

For the Chinese living abroad, parting is part of everyday life. To ‘stay’ or ‘leave’ is an eternal question they all have to answer at some point in time.

This is a topic that is especially important to China’s society today, because ‘drifting’ has become commonplace. Many people have left their hometown to a bigger city in search for better life, but the city they work in cannot be called ‘home’. When they return to the place they once grew up in, due to the long absence, the place where they were once so familiar with is now nothing but a ‘place’. Behind the glitter of new experience is our sense of loss: losing our sense of belonging and identity.

The protagonist Summer Liu is an overseas Chinese. Her sense of belonging or wanting to belong is hence magnified.

Through every struggle in Summer's life, we see ourselves.

剧情简介

在外打拼的华人，习惯了聚散分离，留下还是离开，是他们亘古不变的一个选择题。转眼间已到27岁的刘夏，面对周遭的聚散离合、面对异国的边缘生活、面对摇摇欲坠的梦想，她不得不为自己的前途和命运做一份打算。

Synopsis

A contemporary drama set in London and Beijing,Dong Qu Chun You Lai explores the problems of modern Chinese people leaving their home country. Summer Liu, a petite girl from northeast China was ‘cultivated’ by her parents to be an artist. We join Summer Liu (27) after she left the school. She is living in a North London bedsit, training at a local dance studio and working in a pub. All the while, Summer is trying to find the sense of belonging. Deep down, she knows ballet might not be the thing she wants in life. But it might be a seismic shift to realize that she doesn't want to dance at all...
